A heat detector is a crucial component in fire safety systems, designed to detect changes in temperature caused by the heat produced by a fire. How Heat Detectors Work:

Once the heat detector detects the rise in temperature, it sends a signal to the fire control panel or fire alarm system, which in turn alerts the occupants with a loud warning sound. This gives people enough time to evacuate the building before the fire spreads and causes any further damage.
